Single image: Thornley Woods

Yesterday I went out with my Mamiya RZ67 and just one lens, the 65mm f4 (equivalent to 32mm in 35mm/full frame terms). The 110mm lens is being serviced so that helped to narrow down the lens choice.

I was hoping to get some infrared shots, so had loaded Rollei IR400 film, although I knew that the film produces good results without a filter so I wasn’t committed to shooting IR. It was very dark at this point in the woods so I left off the IR filter and rated the film at EI200. The film was developed in HC110 Dilution B.

The tree actually goes the other way, but this is the way I saw it through the waist level viewfinder and I think it looks better running left to right across the frame.
