I’m not really a big fan of summer. Photographically speaking, it’s just too green. Temperature-wise, it’s just too hot. Roll on Autumn – my favourite time of year.
Autumn’s the most fruitful season for using slide film, I think. These were taken in Autumn 2018 using my last roll of Agfa Precisa CT100, shot in an Olympus OM10, and developed at home in Tetenal E6 chemicals.
The supply of cheapish Precisa is gone now. The few rolls to be found online are more expensive than Fuji Provia, and since Precisa is Provia, there’s no point in paying more for Precisa.
I’ve had a roll of the new Ektachrome 100 – or at least it was a new film when I bought it – waiting for development for about 8 months. I’ve totally forgotten what’s on the film. I’m going to wait a bit longer and finish a few rolls of Velvia before developing them.

I totally agree with you. It is just too hot and humid. Great photos by the way! MZ
Kevin, yes I think summer is my least favourite season for photography, for the reasons you mention. The sun is often too bright too, make images blow out too easily!
Interesting photos of rust and decay, right up my street!
